SlamBurglars BBQ - That Just Happened
Yesterday was ridiculous. Out of 700+ photos that were taken, these are some of only ones that did not suffer from beer hands syndrome(super blurry.) The day was epic, and we have a new Burglar! Geoff was inducted during the festivities, so be on the look out for an official shoot of his car coming soon to an interwebs near you. Looking forward to the next SlamBurglars BBQ!

Brief Update
Thought I'd share a quick update with you all with the latest news and happenings over the past week, in the slamburhood. Last Friday I was asked to come out and shoot some photos of Harrison, Ivan and Robbie.
Robbie's diff was acting up so Ivan was up. I was hoping for the best after what happened at the last session. Of course, the missile driver would drive it like a missile right out of the gates. On his first run, we saw him hopping the curb, all four wheels, down an embankment, less than a foot from making friends with a large tree. We'll just say we were quite surprised he made it out with as little damage as he did. Went home real quick, grabbed tow straps, Robbie borrowed his Dad's truck and we pulled that son' bitch out of that ditch easy as cake.

For one reason or another, it seemed to be an "off day" so to speak, until Harrison decided to open it up and start shooting some corners. The fact that he can get the kind of angle, and throw the kind of smoke he did, all with an open diff is definitely something to take note of.

Later that night, Harry and I headed down south to KINOD, a large Miata gathering in LA. Trip down, was not bad, yet when we arrived, we found an increasingly large puddle of oil seeping from the underbelly of the dumped Miata. After asking everyone there if they had a premium AAA card, we found Michael, aka Ham. Dude saved us beg time. He hooked us up with a tow all the way back to Santa Barbara, FOR FREE! Can't thank this guy enough. In all, KINOD was a good time, and I'm sure we'll be back down in the future.

In other news, we've got a new layout. Tried to streamline things a little bit. Cuts down on lad time and what not, I suppose. The banner is temporary until we can get one with ALL the burglars in it. This was the only group shot I had access to. If you encounter any bugs, let me know; I'll get them straightened out ASAP.I doubt anyone read the whole thing, I know I probably wouldn't have.
